Growing up in Sacramento, Lorrie envisioned a career where she could help people reflect their individuality – and uniqueness. She applied her natural talent while training as a stylist in Hollywood, California, enjoying the freedom and stimulation that Los Angeles provided.

After graduating from cosmetology school, Lorrie began her career as a stylist in a series of upscale, progressive salons on Melrose (LA’s funkiest and trendiest district.) She continued to train in cutting, styling and color – excited about learning new techniques that she could apply to her many unique and distinctive clients.

Moving to North County in 1992, Lorrie continued to grow professionally – and gained a reputation for herself as a stylist who worked within a range of styles – from conservative to progressive. In 1994 Lorrie joined Paul Jordan Salon, convinced that there was no more gratifying work or better job in the world than to create custom hair designs.

An innovative stylist, excellent listener and compassionate manager, Lorrie co-founded Bella D’ora to create an exceptional place for people to work – and a place for clients to come knowing that they will be individually cared for -- and about.
