Melanie moved to San Diego 17 years ago from Sarasota, Florida. Having always enjoyed being near the beach, she found North County to be a wonderful new home.

Melanie graduated from the Oceanside College of Beauty and has received training at Vidal Sassoon. Having worked at La Costa Resort for 11 years, she has come to love the quirky, artistic beach communities and has made Bella Dora the outlet for her own creativity. To each guest who sits in her design chair, whether there for a beautiful new color or the latest cut or style, Melanie provides her artistic touch. That and utmost customer service make each experience with Melanie an exceptional one.
